Hmmm....
I'm thinking about ditching the link to my music listing, as it's pretty useless now that I've finally got on the MP3 bandwagon.
Yeah, it's gone.
If you're interested in my musical tastes, check out my oft updated MP3 list on Facebook.
Now I just need something to catalogue my games and graphic novels.

Media rundown and other stuff
Oh, how the time flies. Here's what I've been up to.
Watching: On DVD, it's been
Millennium Seasons 1 & 2,
Space: Above and Beyond,
Hard-Boiled,
Doctor Strange: the Sorcerer Supreme,
Perfect Creature,
Fantastic Planet, and
Reefer Madness. I've been downloading
Burn Notice and
Flash Gordon.
Listening (to): Various MP3s and Coast to Coast AM.
Reading: Nothing much.
Playing:
Rogue Galaxy.
While it doesn't seem like much, the various TV shows have been pretty time consuming with 22-23 episodes of each. It's been great to go back to the stuff from the mid-90s as I really did forget how good they were. (Although, S:A&B comes off a little dated.)
Now that I'm back at the 'Shop, I've got a less time on my hands, but it's good to be working again with the team.

Aw, Ringo. Why'd you have to go?
One of the best
isn't with us anymore, and he was far too young.

A theory
I'm starting to think that the hits I'm getting to that entry from last year are somebody's lame attempt at a DOS attack. I probably pissed off some prima donna American cosplayer, and they're trying to get back at me.

Fun with Ebert
From the
most recent Answer Man column:
Q. In your response to the question about promising new directors, you answered, "Do we have to stick with Americans? There is a New Mexican Cinema." Perhaps you have forgotten, but Mexicans are Americans. Of course, I realize that the battle against identifying the United States with "America" is already lost, but in the war between the gods and the giants, the giants may win, but I fight for the gods.
Bart Odom, McKinney, Texas
A. Another famous son of McKinney, Haystacks Calhoun, fought for the money. Thanks for the tip about my xenophobia! Of course, Canadians are also Americans. I plan to attend the Toronto Film Festival this year, and meet such leading American directors as Norman Jewison, Denys Arcand, Atom Egoyan, Deepa Mehta, Paul Haggis, Arthur Hiller, David Cronenberg, Guy Maddin, Ted Kotcheff, Patricia Rozema, Alison Maclean, Sturla Gunnarsson, Sarah Polley, and Ivan and Jason Reitman. I'm betting the first one to punch me is Gunnarsson. He was born on the offshore American island of Iceland, and you know how they are.

That's odd
Why is it that I'm getting hits on a
post I made about Cosplay back in December of last year?
And why is the referring URL from Google Images? (The weirdest thing is that people seem to be Googling 'Dyson's Fear' and 'Cosplay' together, so it had to originate from somewhere.)
I'm just curious. I figured it was due to something on Fandom Wank, but that's not it.

A Brief Note
This is for the person who checks out my blog through my old Video Game list link: it's out of date. The new link is:
