A milestone

Well, I'm (at the time of posting) 4 visitors away from the 10k mark, and I'm sadly excited as that's 10,000 visitors to this iteration of the blog since June of last year. Huzzah!

Media Rundown

Okay, after a very nice visit with Mary yesterday, and almost a month since the last one, I'm going to go through a media rundown. (Oh, and I'm not going to differentiate between viewing mediums anymore.)

Watching: (Have watched) You Only Live Twice, Goldeneye, Tales from Earthsea, Star Wars: Episode I- The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith, Vexille, Family Guy presents Blue Harvest, Dungeons & Dragons: the Beginning, Van Helsing, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Stargate Atlantis, Torchwood, Jericho, Knight Rider (2008), Justice League: The New Frontier, Turok: Son of Stone, and Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight. (Will be watching) Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Election, Election 2, The Warlords, and Flash Point.

Listening (to): Various music MP3s and Coast to Coast AM shows.

Reading: (Have been reading) Star Wars Saga Edition, Star Wars: Starships of the Galaxy, Star Wars: Dark Times vol.1, and Star Wars: Clone Wars vol, 9. (Will be reading.) Star Wars: Legacy vol.1 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic vol.1.

Playing: Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Star Wars: Jedi Outcast... oh, and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters.

Yeah, been overdosing on Star Wars recently in preparation for running a Star Wars Saga Edition game in the near-ish future. (When I can find the time, as my schedule and the schedule of my players don't mesh.)

Slight update

No real content... okay, no content... but I am going to scrap my link to DVD Verdict. Their editorial stance has degenerated into a typical online fanboy mindset, with all the idiocy it entails, and it's tiring. It's also quite sad, as they used to offer quality reviews, and now they can't even catch obvious typos amongst their ill informed fan whinging.

For that matter, let's scrap the link to the Space website and I'll consider scrapping Toho Kingdom. Fandom is very close to completely wearing out its welcome to me, and I'm tired of the sheer amount of misogynistic attitudes that abound in it.

What is it with the sheer amount of stupidity that runs rampant in genre fandom, and doubly so on the net?
