There goes the neighborhood
So, I flip over from the DVD I was watching to CP24, and Stephen LeDrew is talking about social networking sites and, more specifically, Twitter. When old media tries to understand new media, the show's over. Remember the
Great Boston Mooninite Scare of 2007?
Well, there goes the neighborhood.... again.

So, after five years, Battlestar is over. Thank frakkin' God.
It's not that I didn't enjoy it, although there were moments that I didn't, it's that it was a complete story. It didn't drag on until it was irrelevant, it said it's piece, told it's story, and turned the lights out.
The end was very satisfying for me. I was pleased. Not because I guessed it (which I did), but because it just felt right. It was beautiful. A beautiful way to end such an ugly four years. (Yes, I said five above, but said four here. I was counting the miniseries above, but the entire run down here.)
I wouldn't have wanted it to end any other way. Actually, it couldn't have. Simple as that.

"Fall 2009" can't come quick enough.... and why isn't it? It's not like they didn't start this last year.
I do, however, love that Boba Fett will be played by the Chicken.
